Tuesday - Drama Wednesday - Gym, Polly the Poodle (and Dana) comes to read! Thursday - Music and Choir Friday - Gym, Big Buddies Although we have scheduled arts times, these are not the only times we learn about or through the arts. Our lessons in class are always integrated through the arts. |

My name is Mrs. Jennifer Coates. I have two daughters, a husband, a dog, and two cats (yup- it's a zoo!).
I have had a passion for dance and art all of my life. I taught dance at a local studio for 20 years. I am a dance and art specialist at Kamloops School of the Arts and have taught for School District 73 for 16 years. I have a passion for teaching reading. I have my own reading resource that is currently used by our school, as well as other schools in Kamloops, Vernon, Clearwater, and Victoria. I have also written two Science learning kits for Scholastic Canada for teachers. I have taught in all grades; however, the primary grades are my favourite! I usually say to parents that, "My door is always open!" In this unique time due to Covid protocols, I hope that I can continue to say that this year. There will be times where we can meet and make appointments; however, please know that I am always available by phone, Zoom, or email.
